David Feingold has always been a controversial comic.
Being thrown out of Mrs. Blum’s Hebrew class in 3rd grade for reading a Yaakov Smirnoff comedy book during Bible class cemented that for him.
Whether he was feeding 1st graders dog food at recess and telling them it was a new kind of snack, or passing out bootleg copies of 2 Live Crew’s “Me So Horny” at Akiba Hebrew Academy, everyone that knew him was just waiting for David to make it big.
The opportunity came in 2003 when Kobe Bryant was arrested for sexual assault. David bought and developed Freekobe.com and was able to pull of one of the biggest practical jokes ever.
With the slogan, “because we’re running out of heroes,” David quickly found himself on CNN, Fox News, Court TV and Inside Edition. He parlayed the success of his website into a weekly radio show on NBC 1190 in Phoenix Arizona.
David also started a weekly web show dubbed, “Shots with Shakespeare,” where he would film himself drinking and reading out of the complete Shakespeare anthology.
After going to the doctor with severe heartburn, David was told he had to lose weight. He decided that the best way to do it was to blog every time he put something in his mouth.
His cousin Andrew as a goof, submitted the site to collegehumor.com and a monster was born.
With countless daily hits, FatJewishGuy.com gave Feingold a platform in which to revive his writing career.
He was soon performing Stand Up at various local clubs, taking the Stand Up scene by storm.
Known around San Diego as “Fat Jewish Guy,” Feingold decided to increase his web traffic by starting the show, Bedtime With Fat Jewish Guy.
The response has been overwhelming and at this point David has one mission in life.
Get as many people as he can into his bed!
