As a fat Jewish guy who is semi kosher, I always here about cool foods and wonder how to make them kosher.
Today for example, someone was raving about Oysters Rockefeller and since the global financial markets decided to take a nosedive, I think it would be most appropriate to come up with a kosher recipe for delicious Oysters Rockefeller.
It is with great pleasure that I present the recipe for OYEsters Rockefeller.
The first thing we need to do is substitute the oyster for something kosher.
Since kosher meat is cost prohibitive, we are going to use Chicken instead.
Obviously we aren’t going to use bacon, so I suggest substituting paprika to give it some kind of spicy taste.
The rest of the recipe is easy, just take some spinach and olive oil.
So, once you get the spinach, chicken, olive oil and paprika in a bowl, mix them all together, heat the oven to 400 degrees and cook for 2 hours.
While this might not taste anything like Oysters Rockefeller and certainly won’t impress any girls when they taste it, at least you can say with certitude that you have made certified Kosher Oysters Rockefeller.
